It consisted of a notebook computer and software titled \u201cDeliverance\u201d, which asks the patient a series of questions, and automatically administers a lethal injection of barbiturates if the correct answers are made.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The following three questions were displayed on the laptop screen and required the patient to click the \u201cYes\u201d button in order to proceed:<\/p>\n<p>1. Are you aware that if you go ahead to the last screen and press the \u201cYes\u201d button, you will be given a lethal dose of medications and die?<\/p>\n<p>2. Are you certain you understand that if you proceed and press the \u201cYes\u201d button on the next screen that you will die?<\/p>\n<p>3.
